Codes Division
The Codes Division identifies the ordinances of our municipality that are designed to enhance the appearance of community and educates residents about them.
Communications Division
The Communications Division aims to effectively facilitate the strategic planning and functioning of the workings of the MBBC. Electronic messaging and other forms of mass media are used to provide information about Beautification and community projects to its members and supporters. ~ Connie Gryczka, Division Chair
Fundraising Division
The Fundraising Division focuses on a series of events designed to raise the dollars needed to carry out beautification projects. These events have included, but are not limited to, a house party, an annual fundraising letter campaign, a yard sale and bake sale, and an annual ocean swim. ~ Pat Murphy, Division Chair
Futures Division
The Futures Division of the MBBC is a two-fold committee. It is a brainstorming committee that welcomes any and all ideas with a purpose other than gardening that would help to beautify Monmouth Beach. It is also a committee that finds ways, such as the Holiday Lighting and Scarecrow Festival, to encourage community members to "come out" and see just how beautiful our town truly is.
Gardening Division
The Gardening Division is devoted to the enhancement of the public areas of Monmouth Beach by establishing and caring for specific floral beds and containers. Plants appropriate to each season are selected and maintained by this committee with their "Adopt a S/Pot" program. The division also sponsors a variety of horticultural activities for adults and children throughout the year. Membership is open to all who enjoy gardening, regardless of individual degrees of expertise. We welcome all - from "black thumbs" to Master Gardeners. The only prerequisites are enthusiasm and a willingness to help. ~ Jeanne Boehles, Division Chair
